gateway ns10 150x150 Gateway NS10: Netbook mit Intel Core i3 oder Core i5Der englische Ableger von Gateway, Gateway UK, hat über eine Pressemitteilung ein neues Netbook sowie drei Notebooks vorgestellt. Alle Geräte finden sich in der NS-Serie wieder und bieten ordentlich Leistung.

Das Gateway NS10 ist das angesprochene Netbook mit einem 11,6-Zoll-Bildschirm. Die Auflösung des Bildschirms liegt bei guten 1366 x 768 Pixeln. Beim Prozessor hat man dann die Qual der Wahl.

Insgesamt stehen für das Gateway NS10 zwei Prozessoren zur Auswahl. Zum einen der Intel Core i3 und zum anderen der Intel Core i5. Während es in der kleineren Serie nur den Core i3-330UM gibt, stehen beim i5 drei Varianten zur Verfügung. Nämlich der Intel Core i5-430UM, Core i5-520UM und Core i5-540UM.

Natürlich kann das Gateway NS10 mit Arbeitsspeicher der Klasse DDR3 umgehen. Bis zu 4-GB-Arbeitsspeicher finden im 11-Zoll-Netbook Platz. Deshalb steht auch Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit zur Auswahl, wobei man auch auf Windows 7 Professional 32-Bit zurückgreifen kann.

Die Festplatte kann gewohnt mit 160 GB oder 250 GB daher kommen, allerdings geht auch noch mehr. Beispielsweise mit einer 640-GB-Festplatte. Eine Webcam, die üblichen USB- und Audioanschlüsse und WLAN sind auch an Bord des Gateway NS10. Abgerundet werden die Schnittstellen von Bluetooth 3.0 und einem 3G-Modem.

Das Gateway NS10 bietet ordentlich Leistung für unbekanntes Geld. Ein Preis und Erscheinungsdatum wurde leider nicht genannt. Uns persönlich stört am Gateway NS10, dass kein HDMI-Ausgang vorhanden ist. Müsste man sich zwischen dem Gateway NS10 und dem Gateway LT32 entscheiden, würden wir zum LT32 greifen.
